Inspiring Women Through Leadership, Education, and Determination

About

As a woman in today’s world, Kelli Dennehey Christina attributes her success to her hard work, education, and determination. With 25 years of specialized medical recruiting and staffing experience and 10 years in restaurant and business management, she is currently the CEO, owner, and director of recruiting for KD-Staffing. Ms. Christina created KD-Staffing on the idea that “recruiting is an art.” She has perfected her skills in this “art” through several managerial and leadership positions since the start of her career; she became a restaurant manager and a boss at nineteen years old. Before she started a career in recruiting, Ms. Christina obtained a bachelor’s degree in business, hotel, and restaurant management from the University of North Texas. With thirty plus years of career experience, her advice to younger generations of women entering the workforce is to remember the importance of education. She also advises them to be strong-willed and to never give up.

Kelli Christina is a best-selling author, public speaker, CEO, and coach current day. Ms. Christina has worked part-time on government projects for ten years. She loves “making a difference” in today’s world. Ms. Christina founded a second business in 2018 called “KDC-Making a Difference, LLC” which is focused on books and public speaking current day.

In Good Faith is narrative nonfiction based on real-life events hidden from the public eye for over a decade. I tell this story through my eyes as the protagonist, Katheryn Lane, because I lived it. I have changed other key names and details to protect the privacy of people and companies. Dialogue is written as I remember, though some conversations have been fictionalized for clarity and story flow.
When there is success in any industry, it often comes after many low moments and, sometimes, after things have been handled poorly. Despite any success, the consequences of grossly negligent choices and business practices, including illegal ones, can destroy countless lives. Many managers and employees learn the hard way that employment law in its current form favors those in power and the business itself, not the people. When business goes terribly wrong, attorneys’ offices explode with complaints, court proceedings ensue, and people get hurt. One of my greatest hopes is that business leaders learn employment law before trouble, lawsuits, and mass destruction unfold—as they did for me.
In Good Faith is my journey, a twisting path that holds abundant success and many failures. I’ve traveled through the legal system and discovered betrayal, pain, and loss. Within the story, I include important life (and business) lessons, the least of which is that our jobs and well-being affect our families, friends, and love life. We have many survivors in this world, many fighters who are hoping for some wins. I am one of them. My journey continues. Life is lived in the up and down moments. The only choice we have is to hang on for the ride.

Kelli Christina's "In Good Faith" is a testament to one woman's extraordinary courage in exposing systemic corruption within the medical staffing industry, even when it meant risking everything she had built. Through the eyes of protagonist Katheryn Lane, Christina transforms her real-life journey from ambitious entrepreneur to determined whistleblower into a story filled with authenticity and raw emotion. Her story of defeat and triumph reveals not just the personal cost of standing up to powerful institutions, but also the resilience required to rebuild after watching your dreams crumble in the face of bureaucratic negligence and industry fraud. This is essential reading for anyone who has ever wondered whether one person can truly make a difference against a broken system—Kelli proves that sometimes the most important battles are fought by those who refuse to stay silent.

I have had the pleasure of having this author as a guest on my show MY STEPS TO SOBRIETY and have read her book as part of doing due diligence prior to the interview. Reading Christina's book is quite an eye-opener for me into a culture that is so difficult to understand, it may as well come from another galaxy. This book shines the light on the often questionable, and at times fraudulent practices that go on behind the scenes of recruiting staff in the USA. More importantly however, it reveals the challenges that any American citizen will face when it comes to fighting for their rights or, God forbid, try to whistleblow in a society where financial ruin and homelessness is waiting just around the corner. This book is however also a testament to resilience. It offers the reader a way out of difficult situations due to the openness and transparency of the author. Christina had to go through hell and back, but she did not stop going. That is the hallmark of any survivor and I have taken solace in reading about Christina's trials and tribulations. An amazing author, a very interesting book!

This book is a “must read” book if you like non-fiction narrative storylines and legal thrillers. I have known Kelli Christina for many years and I met her through the chapters in this book. She hired my private security company and I watched her go through extreme challenges, as well as overcome them. Her legal work was unstoppable throughout the years. She is a highly intelligent woman. I endorse Kelli Christina for her intellect, character and integrity.

Having known Kelli for nearly four decades, I personally witnessed her passionately and courageously navigate the professional and personal challenges described in her book. Her story serves as a guideline for preventing--and addressing--the moral and ethical challenges that exist in both the private and public sectors of our nation. I commend her for having the fortitude and selflessness to share her story with others.

This compelling book offers a gripping account of one woman's fight against a corrupt system in the medical staffing industry. Through the eyes of Katheryn, you are taken on a journey filled with courage, betrayal, and resilience, but also showing how important life and business lessons can be learned along the way. A must-read for those who are interested in stories of the challenges of being a whistleblower and the fight to achieve personal triumphs.
