Inspiring Women Through Leadership, Education, and Determination
About

As a woman in today’s world, Kelli Dennehey Christina attributes her success to her hard work, education, and determination. With 25 years of specialized medical recruiting and staffing experience and 10 years in restaurant and business management, she is currently the CEO, owner, and director of recruiting for KD-Staffing. Ms. Christina created KD-Staffing on the idea that “recruiting is an art.” She has perfected her skills in this “art” through several managerial and leadership positions since the start of her career; she became a restaurant manager and a boss at nineteen years old. Before she started a career in recruiting, Ms. Christina obtained a bachelor’s degree in business, hotel, and restaurant management from the University of North Texas. With thirty plus years of career experience, her advice to younger generations of women entering the workforce is to remember the importance of education. She also advises them to be strong-willed and to never give up.
Kelli Christina is a best-selling author, public speaker, CEO, and coach current day. Ms. Christina has worked part-time on government projects for ten years. She loves “making a difference” in today’s world. Ms. Christina founded a second business in 2018 called “KDC-Making a Difference, LLC” which is focused on books and public speaking current day.

In Good Faith is narrative nonfiction based on real-life events hidden from the public eye for over a decade. I tell this story through my eyes as the protagonist, Katheryn Lane, because I lived it. I have changed other key names and details to protect the privacy of people and companies. Dialogue is written as I remember, though some conversations have been fictionalized for clarity and story flow.
When there is success in any industry, it often comes after many low moments and, sometimes, after things have been handled poorly. Despite any success, the consequences of grossly negligent choices and business practices, including illegal ones, can destroy countless lives. Many managers and employees learn the hard way that employment law in its current form favors those in power and the business itself, not the people. When business goes terribly wrong, attorneys’ offices explode with complaints, court proceedings ensue, and people get hurt. One of my greatest hopes is that business leaders learn employment law before trouble, lawsuits, and mass destruction unfold—as they did for me.
In Good Faith is my journey, a twisting path that holds abundant success and many failures. I’ve traveled through the legal system and discovered betrayal, pain, and loss. Within the story, I include important life (and business) lessons, the least of which is that our jobs and well-being affect our families, friends, and love life. We have many survivors in this world, many fighters who are hoping for some wins. I am one of them. My journey continues. Life is lived in the up and down moments. The only choice we have is to hang on for the ride.
